Gordon Campbell made this statement and then had a few Cabinet meetings in camera. But they slowly faded out as his next project was the gutting of the Freedom of Information Act.
What took you a couple of dollars and a few days in the 90's to get on FOI can now cost you thousands (if they don't want you to see it) and months to acquire it. Further when you do receive it there is so much blackout (or whiteout) it doesn't make any sense.
Openess and honesty? I think not.
